At this 20th edition of the FrancoFolies de Montréal, presented from Thursday, July 24 to Sunday, August 3, 2008 by Ford Canada in collaboration with Molson Dry, we’re rolling out the red carpet for the brightest lights in francophone music, as well as those artists from here and abroad who’ve left their mark on our two-decade fiesta of francophone and world music—whether they “grew up” on our stages, or arrived in full glory to confirm their greatness with brilliant and galvanizing performances. As befits the occasion, this anniversary edition turns its spotlight on French chanson, hip hop and rock, on a diversity of sound and style, and above all, the invigorating vivacity of francophone music!
