An incredible edition!

The 29th edition of the Festival International de Jazz de Montréal once again transforms the City of Festivals into the world’s musical heart and headquarters! The world’s largest musical event, presented by General Motors of Canada in collaboration with Rio Tinto Alcan, offers a program in the very image of Montreal, cultural and multi-cultural metropolis par excellence. From June 26 to July 6, 2008, the Festival welcomes a gallery of acclaimed icons of jazz and its related musics, while showcasing exciting new musical discoveries in every genre and from every continent. Over the course of 11 days of pure pleasure, more than 3,000 musicians from every corner of the globe will celebrate music and the life-force from the city’s most prestigious stages. The indoor concert program alone totals up over 150 concerts in fifteen series, breaking the prism of jazz down into its complete spectrum of sounds.

Tickets go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m.
